So let any man who has drunk too deeply of the cup of pleasure, or given to work a notable portion of the time which should belong to sleep; who finds his wit temporarily losing its edge, the atmosphere humid, time dragging, the air hard to breathe, or who is tortured by a fixed idea which robs him of all freedom of thought; let such a man administer to himself a good pint of ambered chocolate … and he will see wonders.

No, I am not that tired, haha, but gaaah, it is humid where I am.
I got that hot choco from Camiguin. I’ve been having it for breakfast for a few days now and I’m getting heart palpitations, ack! Now my mother would say hot choco made from the tablea (tablets of pure cacao or cocoa powder) from Bicol is richer and I’m not arguing with her because she might harumph and garumph and refuse to prepare it this Christmas as she always does, haha.
Where do you get yours and how do you like to enjoy it? (I won’t tell my mother, I promise.)
Oh that looks gooooooood! I’ve been using tableas from Cotabato. Oddly enough, I bought them in Bacolod then discovered that they’re available in Landmark
I forget the brand but they’re good because the tableas have no sugar, just cocoa. That way, I can make the hot chocolate as chocolate-y as I want without going overboard with the sugar. Recently, I’ve been sprinkling my hot chocolate with pinipig!
Yum!
Marshmallow are always good with hot choco but pinipig sounds like a good idea.
Really enjoying your blog thanks
This photo lured me in and your fresh style kept me there, well done!
Thank you.
Ay, “Nescafe moment” ang tawag ko dyan. haha. Maski anong iniinom ko, coffee, hot cocoa or tea, nescafe moment pa rin. (Although I’m not really a big fan of Nescafe)
I’m more of a coffee person though and I like it with just cream and sugar.
I heard cayenne pepper or chili powder in hot chocolate works great. Try mo?
Haha! The ad agency did a good job.
I’m a coffee person, too but when there’s a good tablea in the house, I pretend it’s already Christmas.
Yup, I read somewhere about cayenne pepper. I have some on hand and will try that definitely. Thanks!
My bestfriend makes truffles with tablea coating.
Naglalagay ako ng 2-3 pieces sa aking Kopiko Brown Coffee at binubudburan ng miniature marshmallows for the extra kaartehan and delicious chorva. Mwehehehe!
Talk about a production number, hahaha. That’s so rich but I’m tempted to try that, although I’d have to look for those truffles.
I don’t know if this counts but for me, I mix a sachet of milo and Kopiko 3 in 1; and the taste is better than those sold in coffeeshops! hahahaha!
That sounds like a real energy drink. Caffeine plus Milo.
