I’m sorry.
I’m so, sooo sorry.¹

I had three slices.
Yes, three.
Tres.
Trois.

Everything in moderation – it is NOT easy making lifestyle changes, especially when it comes to food! Happy Monday!
Definitely not easy, haha. Thanks, Renee and have a great week.
You have to keep up your strength!
Yes, THAT. Of course.
That really looks so good. Where is that pizza from? Alam mo namimiss ko? Favorite pizza ko na basic cheese from shakey’s., thin crust ha.
And I am glad you’re not beating yourself up about this. Yay!
Ay, I really enjoyed it. Keber, haha!
That’s New York’s Finest, my favorite from Yellowcab Pizza.
Ooooh that Pizza looks so yummy Tita, am so glad you enjoyed it
Hadn’t had one for more than a year, would you believe? So it was “gone in 60 seconds”.
He! he! I don’t blame you.
That pizza is tempting. Don’t blame you for caving in. Remember what Scarlett O’Hara said, “Tomorrow’s another day.”
But then Scarlett goes on to say, “As God is my witness, I will never go hungry again!”
Right again! Good one!
I’ve spent years dieting and trying to lose weight and get fit and look good and all of the above. I’ve done hours at the gym and protein shakes, no carbs after 1pm, no carbs at all, the paleowhatsit, no dairy and no sugar, the omgimstarvingsomeonefeedme … It wasn’t until coming to Singapore that I started simply enjoying food and treating myself kindly that I’ve lost a stack of weight (which surprises me every day I look at my reflection). Enjoy your pizza – and be kind to yourself!
Hahaha, thanks, Stef! My diet is just eating everything in moderation except maybe vegetables which (thankfully) I love and have in heaps.
Looks like you’re really liking life in Singapore.
The pizza is so so tempting that I am lusting on a laptop… can you imagine!
I’m afraid I was in the same dilemma yesterday and I ate the whole pizza! Back on the diet today.
Three slices. One whole. As Naomi pointed out earlier, we need it for our strength.
When a pizza is coming in, I am not thinking about the diet. I am greeting
That’s a good attitude to have.
Thanks for the visit!
Oh yeah Tita! Ida had three pieces too! Did someone say Shakey’s?! We haven’t had a pizza from Shakey’s since college(38 years) and they are no more. Sad.
Oh, we still have Shakey’s here in the Philippines. I thought they’d be out of business but they seem to be enjoying a new boost recently.
I could have taken on more than three, as I hadn’t eaten pizza for more than a year, but the Mr. put a damper on my evil plans, hehe.
Reminds me on my occasional efforts to live as vegetarian…
Haha! Come to think of it, most dieting efforts are really just ‘occasional’.
As they say, Tita Buds … “Sorry I’m not sorry.”
Haha, exactly.
Looks like it was well worth it! Yum!
After a year of not having that? Very well worth it!
It’s so difficult to stick to a diet!
It is, that’s why I don’t like diets that disallow some foods, hehe. Just eating in moderation is my ‘diet’ now.
Any left? I’m feeling a bit hungry.
Every last crumb gone, Rumpy, hahaha.
A year? I couldn’t have held out for that long!
I’m a reformed former fastfood junkie, Madhu.
Learning how to cook somehow made fastfood a less desirable choice for me. But when the opportunity is there, I take three.
Dear Tita Buds,
No need to apologize. I feel you. Remember to follow your heart and do what makes you happy.
Love,
God
