Weekday Links

(I’m starting a new feature here that I hope to do — cross my fingers — every week or at least monthly.  Like most of you, I’m guilty of spending a good part of my week reading other sites and I’d like to share some of what I enjoyed. I thought I’d post it on a weekday because wouldn’t it be nice to have something to click on during downtime at home or at work? ;))

Today, it’s going to be exclusively a reader’s affair. I’d like to highlight just a few of the interesting posts from blogs that I came across recently. I hope you like them as much as I did.

First up, here’s a gasp-inducing photo, along with Alexandra’s prose on simplicity that I think will inspire you.

Speaking of inspiration, this post in Grace in Full Measure might just make you think about giving your 70s/80s-era dining room a make-over. Let’s drool together over that trestle table.

I would love to get lost inside this store. Seriously, I wouldn’t know where to look first!

Pasta love. And I mean love. Janis came up with a recipe for my favorite pasta dish to eat at my favorite diner, yey. So gooood.

Finally, for those who are familiar with Filipino pop culture, this hilarious post by Iya about a day with friends might just give you an asthma attack. Or at least plan a Karaoke night this weekend. 🙂

Have a good week!

  1. You’re welcome but you guys do deserve a shout-out. 🙂
Speaking of guys, I just realized this post is actually a FEMALE readers’ affair. Hmmm… 🙂

  2. What a neat idea/concept for a feature – liking it so far! Cannot wait to see what is next. By the way I love that dining table and would love to check out that store too.

    • Thank you, it’s actually easier to find interesting posts than to pare my selection to just a few. The Mr. acts as some sort of tie-breaker. 🙂

  3. That’s an interesting idea! I have thought of making that one too but I don’t have close friends here in the blogging world yet. Cheers!

By the way, I just came back from my Cebu Bohol (Danao) Trip and everything was gooood! 🙂

Talk to me: :)
