1983 B.C. (Before Cellphones)

From the depths of my keepsakes box, an old note from high school:

Written by a classmate and marked ‘CONFIDENTIAL’, it was secretly passed hand to hand in class until it reached me, who as class president had the responsibility to resolve weighty matters such as:

When are we going to watch Betamax? Β Before YDT (P.E.) or after Chem?

Ah, the 80s. When 13-year-olds made a momentous event out of watchingΒ E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial. πŸ˜€

    • I keep a LOT of mementos from back then & it’s fun to look through them once in a while. πŸ™‚
But that’s so bad about your phone. I hope you have the data ready to be restored from your computer.

  1. I have a box full of those little notes passed on in class. I love reading them once in a while.
The “decide well” cracks me up – if only we had that level of difficult decisions to make now…..!

  2. Funny! Those were the days, but for me it was the 60’s. Ouch! I still have notes and all kinds of little stuff in an old suitcase. I will cherish it forever. Get a little blue and I go down to the basement and carry the little suitcase up and it takes me back.

  3. Wah! nakakasenti! may katangahan ako na ginawa, sinunog ko mga old notes and other memes from gradeschool and highschool. engot. engot talaga. buti ka pa may ganito.

teka, na-inspire ako maghalukay ng ganito rin. baka may natira pa.

    and seriously, ET talaga? πŸ™‚

  4. You really should preserve these types of memories. You only get to appreciate them years after. πŸ˜€

I am born in the ’90s and I find this very cheesy. πŸ˜€

Talk to me: :)
